I was told that we could either move the equipment with us, at no charge, or pay a $750 early termination fee. We decided to move the alarm (although we really didn't need it), and fulfill the remaining contract balance of 1 year & 8 months. The alarm was installed along with additional equipment. Before the installer left, my wife asked if we needed to sign anything. The installer said "no that is not necessary". Neither my wife or I signed or received any paperwork.
Guardian Protection Home Security Review
So far it has been just a couple of months, but I'm very happy with the service. I'm very happy with the customer service, and I'm very happy with the installation. Well first of all customer service, the salesman very dependable. I had a bad experience with another company and that's why I didn't take that company's security. But I've had the pleasure of meeting the Guardian sales guy several times and then I finally was able to go ahead.
It's for a vacation home and if I have to let someone in I have the ability to do that with the equipment. I feel more comfortable and safe and night and especially when I'm away from home, thanks to my Guardian Protection system. Their customer service reps were very helpful, courteous, answered questions, and were very patient. I have email proofs from Guardian confirming their lies and the fact that this business is basically stealing people's money but doesn't offer any services back. I will be happy to provide copies of email communications from Guardian and people not to be cheated by this deceiving business.

Guardian Protection’s parent company is Armstrong Group, which is based in Butler, Pennsylvania. Guardian’s review of the investment made for this customer’s activation found the costs incurred were less than those incurred if Guardian had installed a new system. Guardian agreed to offer a settlement based on a 36-month term.
Guardian found our customer had not been offered a 24-month term but had been offered a 36-month term or 60-month term without any difference in the cost of action or monthly fee. Guardian Protection is accommodating and I've already called a couple of times, one to schedule a service and they came out they did the service within a reasonable time frame. The security equipment is pretty good, my thermostat is very good and easy to use, good functionality, and the app that we used with the technology of it is very easy to use. It works really well and it makes our life easier.
7 professional monitoring
While our customer did have her doorbell transformer upgraded, Guardian’s liaison noted there was still an issue with the connectivity of her video doorbell with her internet router. Our customer had time to troubleshoot the connectivity issue. She was able to move her router to another location in her home where the signally gain was remarkable and should improve the performance of her video doorbell . We truly hope all issues with the video doorbell have now been resolved and the moving of her router did not impact the performance of other wi-fi devices in her home.
I like how easy it is to use their system and how good their customer service representatives are on the phone. Our system protects you by setting the motion detectors to turn on outdoor lights when activity occurs outside the home. Your safety and security deserves technology that's been proven to work, and people who have been proven to care. Once your security system is installed and activated, it will be in “orientation” mode for the first 7 days. This gives you some time to get comfortable using your new system without worrying about false alarms and potential fines. We recommend Guardian Protection to those interested in professional installation and professional monitoring.

The monthly monitoring cost will fluctuate depending on if you want a basic security package with standard devices or a more advanced package with home automation capabilities and video surveillance. Damage Protection / Repair 1 After phone tag and complaining, GPP ACTUALLY approved my claim. We bought a sectional from Bob's Discount furniture in May of 2018 and purchased the Goof Proof Protection plan from Guardian with the sale. We were informed that the protection plan will cover almost any normal damage or stains to the sectional for 5 years. Well we just had a house full of people over to our house the weekend of Oct 12th, 2019 to attend a fall harvest fest.
The camera that they give you is awesome and I like all the other devices and equipment that come with the system. I also love that you can have it all on your phone and you can check on it, even when you're not at home. They were really quick to call me and make sure that it was me. I know I'm secure and that if something were to happen they will call me immediately and help me.
The only interaction I've really had with customer service was when they came in to put in the system. The equipment itself is great, though I'd like them to add a feature where I don't have to go through the phone app or to the pad to disarm the system. It'd be great if they had a way for it to be set automatically. Other than that, I really can't complain, it would have been great if it had been cheaper, but it's good in general and very reasonable. The service was offered to me at a reasonable price during my home buying process.
It's just a good company to deal with and we're well satisfied. I'm using old equipment- my house is hard wired. I called for an update but since I was already hard wired they couldn't go with the new equipment. I'm still considering adding some equipment to my house and I'll still be going through Guardian. If I didn't like them I wouldn't be considering spending more money with them. Anytime anything's going off they have immediately called.
These installers also evaluate your property for weak security spots or areas of concern. Our customer has asked to cancel the services without the need to pay a cancelation fee. Guardian Protection has a great customer service team. They are usually very helpful and are quick to respond to your questions. We haven't had any problems with any of the security equipment at all and we've had them for years. I think their different protection plans are really good.
DIY or Professional Installation
The system provides intrusion protection via motion, door, and window sensors, as well as environmental protections such as carbon monoxide and smoke detection. I contacted them about upgrading and monitoring my existing security system that was installed by one of their local dealers 12 years ago. I no longer want to work with that local dealer and was looking for them to help me find a new local dealer or for them to setup installation and service.
